Timothy John Green was born on December 16, 1963, and has enjoyed a varied career that includes stints in professional American football, broadcasting, legal practice, and writing. Green’s journey from an NFL player to an author provides a unique backdrop for understanding the deeper messages in his novel Unstoppable.

Hailing from Liverpool, New York, Green displayed early prowess in athletics and academics. A 1982 alumnus of Liverpool High School, he later attended Syracuse University and gained recognition for his skills as a linebacker and defensive end. He also excelled academically, graduating summa cum laude in 1986. His football talents earned him a spot in the first round of the 1986 NFL Draft, where he was picked by the Atlanta Falcons. His eight-season tenure in the NFL was marked by steadfast dedication and achievement, setting the stage for his post-football endeavors.

Following his retirement from football, Green ventured into broadcasting for the NFL on Fox and similar programs, leveraging his firsthand experience of the game. Concurrently, he pursued legal studies and earned a degree from Syracuse University’s College of Law in 1994. His legal career spanned roles at Barclay Damon LLP and later at Team Green Lawyers, PLLC, where he showcased his adaptability and his commitment to ongoing professional development.
