Although most people don’t know who Maali is and many of his former associates don’t care about his death, the three people who fight for him inform his character development. Jaki especially seeks to prove that Maali didn’t die in vain. She risks her life to complete his unfinished business, highlighting her respect for his life and her desire to maintain his dignity, even in death.
