“School for Good and Evil New Class Proposal”
In this activity, students will look to the future and design a class that will benefit both the good and evil sides of the school.
By the end of the novel, teachers and students realize the power of true goodness. They want to restructure the school for the future, and they need classes that will benefit all students. Write a proposal for such a class.
Present your class proposal through a medium of your choice, such as a poster, pamphlet, or slide presentation.
Once presentations are over, participate in the class vote for the top proposals and discussion.
Teaching Suggestion: To guide students throughout the project, consider setting criteria ahead of time for the vote. It might also be helpful to draft a proposal or outline as a class to talk through some of the components of class design, such as backward-mapping, skill development, and assessments.
