King of Maridrina and father to Lara and several other princesses, Silas is a strategic ruler who seeks to expand his kingdom’s power through military and political maneuvers. He has little regard for the lives of his enemies or even his own daughters.

Known as the Magpie, Serin is the Master of Spies for King Silas and leads the training of the Maridrinian princesses, including Lara. He is the main strategist behind espionage efforts against Ithicana.

Aren’s sister and a key member of the royal family, Ahnna is next in line for the Ithicanian throne and serves as Watch Commander of Southwatch. She is skeptical of Lara’s intentions despite their familial ties through marriage.

Aren’s right-hand man and captain of the guard tasked with protecting Aren and Lara. He is older and experienced, offering counsel and support to Aren in his role as king.

Cousin to Aren and Ahnna, Taryn serves as part of Aren's guard and befriends Lara early on. She is knowledgeable about Ithicana’s defense strategies and had aspirations in music outside the kingdom.

Grandmother to Aren, Ahnna, and Taryn, she is a respected elder in Ithicana known for her healing abilities and wisdom regarding the kingdom’s seasons. Despite her eccentric nature, she holds significant influence.

Sister to Lara, Marylyn was initially the favored candidate for Ithicana’s queen. She is known for her beauty and acting skills, maintaining a pristine exterior while harboring ambitious and ruthless intentions.
