Dahlia feels relieved she can talk to Julian about her relationship, and he reassures her that another opportunity for a TV show will come around. To help cheer her up, Julian takes her back to the Harvest Festival, where they have a competition to see how many carnival games they can win. Julian ends up beating Dahlia, but he refuses to tell her what he will get as a prize.
The next day of the Harvest Festival, Dahlia gets her family to help play a prank on Julian to get back at him for winning the competition. Dahlia, Lily, Rosa, and Josefina decorate Julian’s office with gaudy Christmas decorations over the weekend. The next morning when Julian enters the office, he admits that it could be Dahlia’s best prank yet, and he kisses her.
As Julian kisses Dahlia, he reconsiders his plan to get rid of her as soon as possible. Ryder has hired another male carpenter who flirts with Dahlia at the Founder’s house, so Julian promotes him to work on another project and tells Dahlia that he will be taking the carpenter’s place.
